Vioxx Side Effects
Vioxx side effects are serious, life threatening conditions. Linked to instances of serious cardiovascular thromboembolic adverse events, such as heart attacks, angina pectoris, and peripheral vascular events, other Vioxx side effects have surfaced. Already on the market since 1999, more serious Vioxx side effects began to be reported in 2002. A March 2002 FDA report on Vioxx side effects indicated Vioxx might also be associated to nonbacterial meningitis.
Other more common Vioxx side effects include upset stomach, vomiting, constipation, dizziness, as well as other effects. Some arthritis patients may be at a higher risk for suffering serious, life-threatening Vioxx side effects. It is important to be properly evaluated on an individual basis as to best avoid any foreseeable instances of Vioxx side effects.
